We who stand behind The Security Dragon have long felt that something is missing in the security sector. We miss the pedagogy in the work. Something we have observed is that people in the security sector usually write and speak for others in the sector or people who are somehow familiar with what needs to be done (e.g. management). It made us think about what we want with our work?

We want to reach out to everyone, and we really mean EVERYONE. To succeed in the job of creating a safer society, everyone in society needs to understand what needs to be done and WHY it needs to be done.

The purpose of this page is to explain in the most educational way possible the complicated area that security actually is, our goal is that even the least technical people (security is often perceived as too technical) will understand why.
